Driving home from my parents house last night, I speed up to overtake a van and notice there is a red light just ahead. I begin to brake and nothing happens, there's something stuck underneath the brake peddle, so I SLAMMED on the brake. 
R kind of squealed, the tyres screeched and the body of the car started rocking side to side. I would imagine that I looked something like that cat> when it happened. We actually DID manage to stop by the line. It was pretty embarrassing really. You never believe anyone when they tell you not to leave things rolling around on the car floor, until one day, that happy shoe will wedge itself under your brake pad.
Fun times.
I woke up last night screaming because I thought that my skin had fused into my mattress and I couldn't rip away. I hope my housemates can get used to stuff like that.
Man, it's pretty sucky getting paid less then $10 an hour. I got paid today, $624 (because i took 3 hours off sick and I have no leave left so i missed out on $30 normally its $654). I brought 3xtickets to Clap Your Hands Say Yeah for tonight ($130), I brought a book for Regan for his birthday next week ($35), I brought lunch for Erin and I ($15), and I paid Regan back($20), I will also put in another weeks rent ($130). That leaves me with $294 for the next 2 weeks. I will spent roughly- $60 on petrol, $150 on food, $40 on the train, $30 on electricity/Internet etc. So basically that leaves me with $14 for the next 2 weekends. I'm liking my job less and less by the day.
